Our acclaimed Film & TV Training Programme is back!
Learn how to break into the screen industries and succeed as an entry-level hair & make-up artist. This popular programme has already fast-tracked HMU artists onto top UK dramas & films around the world.
The Bootcamp consists of 3 stages, which you can attend on a flexible basis, depending on your availability. Complete the programme in 3 to 12 months - learn at your own pace or fast-track into the industry. Each stage is designed to give you maximum confidence and a deeper understanding of what is expected for each dept role.

STAGE 1: ONLINE - BOOTCAMP

STAGE 2: STUDIO BASED - PRACTICALS
We provide a variety of workshops at our studio in MediaCity UK for hairstyling, barbering and make-up skills. Design and create looks for period and contemporary characters on screen.
STAGE 3: ONLINE - GET SET READY
The MU-Agency can offer you guidance on how to network, build your contacts and will help you transition into the screen industries. Our alumni have worked on great productions.

AMANDA ROCHELLE
Amanda is an established hair and make-up designer with over 25 years of experience in TV, TVC, Film, Live Event & Photographic make-up. For the past 17 years she has also been an educator and mentor to students and trainees with the ambition to be successful in a competitive industry.
As well as running Make-up United Artists, an agency dedicated to providing excellence in make-up artistry and hairstyling for the screen industries, she has an academy studio in Media City, hosting masterclasses and workshops for beginners and industry pros alike.
CJ FAWN
Northern non-binary Social Media Manager. CJ has worked across the UK in Film, TV, Social Media, Commercials & Events.
They are MU-A’s Marketing Manager; producing content for socials and website, as well as providing tailored media training for MU-A trainees who are looking to step up their game in the online world.
CJ enjoys helping artists grow their online following, boost engagement and develop their social media content in order to promote their skills.
